What we collect and why
- Cleaner profiles: the information a business submits to be listed (business name, description, services, areas, contact details, images). Purpose: to publish the listing so customers can contact the business. Legal basis: the listing agreement (contract) and legitimate interests. Profiles are public while live.
- Verification records: the date and outcome of our contact check. Legal basis: legitimate interests (keeping the directory genuine).
- Customer searches: the postcode/area and service you type are used to show results and are not stored against you. Contact with a cleaner happens directly (your call, WhatsApp or email); KleanTouch does not receive it.
- Analytics: [if Google Analytics 4 is enabled] anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, which contact buttons are clicked, in aggregate). Legal basis: legitimate interests / consent where required.
- Technical cookies: a session cookie for the registration form (security), and during pre-launch a preview cookie. No advertising cookies.
Sharing
Listed business details are public by design. We do not sell data. Hosting is provided by Hostinger (EU/UK data centres) [confirm region]. Analytics, if enabled, is provided by Google.
Retention
Live profiles are kept while listed; removed profiles are deleted within [30] days unless needed to handle a complaint. Registration submissions that are never approved are deleted within [90] days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold, or object to processing, via the contact page. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
